I NEED HELP AFR 165 1.7 rocker pushrod length?

Could i use the stock length pushrods on AFR 165 stud mount heads with 1.7 rockers?
or should i check the length? and if so how would i do that?

Your going to need hardened pushrods in either the stock length or .100 longer than stock. That was what I was told. I just got my 165's yesterday. I can't wait to get mine put on the car.

i just got mine in yesterday also
that length was what i herd also i just didnt know if it was different from 1.6 to 1.7 length wise
does anyone else have any experience with this ? did u have to go bigger? or stay the same length?

im not sure but i belive they r going to tell u to tear down the engine and use a pushrod length checker to be exact. but maybe u can try calling AFR? or afr distrubutor adperformance.com maybe and ask

u have to use a pushrod checker to get the correct length. all engines r different.

I have a set of manley 4130 chrome moly pushrods 6.3 length with 5,000 miles on them. I used them with my AFR 185 heads and 1.7RR, $75 shipped to ya.
