I changed my heater core and iam still getting the dash back together. When i was looking at the heater core box, i noticed a spring lever gimick and noticed it wasnt hooked at one end. i figured this was for the heater controls but cant figure it out. does the black cable form the controls attach to this piece. i included a picture i found on google. if anyone could please help it will be greatly appreciated.
