Well i went over to PEI on saturday...When i was on the divided highway i got the car up to 230kms and i was only reving 4000 which is awsome cause i have 3.55 gears and my redline is 6800 so lots of room to go up even more.

Well at the track i ran 13.58 @104.68 which is ok but i'm hopin for better times...I'm goin to order a tri ax shifter and new subframes

Does anyone have a tri ax and how do u like it?

You have plenty of room for improvment at the track. A stock mach 1 on DR's ran 12.70 @108 mph at napierville last week.

I dont understand the thrill to go at 230 on public road.

Well I have to say when i did 230 it was ealry in the morning and there was no cars on the road..... When i was at the track i couldn't get any traction...First time at the track and I will be goin more instead of ripping around the streets.

Just wish they had a track close to halifax that was open

How is your shaker treaten ya speed?

Good times man :nice:
Always room for improvement. Gets some slicks or BFG Dr's and start having fun. :D
If you do get some Dr's, buy some cheap rims and get some 15" wheels and tires for dragging. I had the 17" Dr's and now have the 15" Dr's and the difference between the two is unbeleivable. :hail2: They hook like crazy, and they're not even heated up ! (more sidewall)

Hey guys Im fairly new hear but not to Mustangs. Im running a 98 SVT Cobra. Just thoguht id ask when the mustang weekend was or the dates? Also anyone else from New Brunswick? And machinu what did you need to run over there? How much money to run and when do they have an open track????

hi
do you guys know if they consider my drag radials slicks??? if so that means i need a driveshaft loop. Oh well thems the breaks.

I never got bother before with my Dr's. They let me roll in the water as if I had slicks and never checked for a driveshaft loop.

Then again, Luskville isnt very serious. For example, I think you need to wear a helmet as soon as you hit 13.99 at any track. I never saw somebody getting kicked because he wasnt wearing any helmets running 13's at Luskville.

Yeah, but a driveshaft loop is worth the investment. They can be gotten dirt cheap, and when you think about it, are an extremely good idea on any vehicle sporting a driveshaft. Think about what would happen if your driveshaft broke loose while driving the car :owned: .
