I started to tear up today when pulling out of work i see coming down the street my old 96 GT. I sold it in the middle of my senior year of high school because I wasnt sure about college yet and how i was gonna pay for it. Apart of me wanted to chase the guy down and tell the guy i wanted to buy the car back. Even though my dream when i had that car was always to have a 5.0 i still would love to have her back......the aftermarket for the 4.6L has exploded now and she was in mint condition (had her repainted with cobra body parts put on her 6 months before i sold her) I honestly teared up maybe because it was my first stang and maybe cause all my high school memories are in that car.....it just felt wrong seeing her being driven by someone else.

Im with Roland, sold the car seen it a bunch of times and don't really get emotional...

And before I hear anything we got the car when I was 9, restored it with my father, and poured every penny I got into it (started working at 13-14 with my father). I did love it and love my car now, but I guess I just think of it as a car!

Maybe the guy will sell it back, you never know unless you ask.

I sold a stolen / recoverd car I had. Saw it once and almost started crying... Then the moment passed and I went back to driving my little intrepid around.
