I went to the track for the first time on friday after work. Here are the results:

60' 2.436
1/8 10.408 @ 69.878
1/4 15.997 @ 86.154

Now, here were the conditions:
-My first time ever at the track
-Street tires with 32psi
-Went straight from freeway(1.25 hour drive) to the track. ~15 min to cool down
-Elevation 2700 feet.

How much do I/my car suck?

let some air out of those tires, damn man. i hope your bringing the revs up after the second stage light comes on. ya know, left foot on brake, bring revs up till car wants to jump. when the third light goes, left off brake and give throttle decent pressure, don't slam on it to spin, but easy. let the computer do the shifting till u get used to it. and don't get to nervous....

P.S. - PRACTICE, PRACTICE, AND MORE PRACTICE!!!!!!!!

What all did you have done. I ran a 14.9 like 93-94 mph. All I had done was xpipe, flowmaster mufflers, CAI and shift kit. And my AODE was going out on me.

Get some Nittos and seat time. I went 14.6@95 w/ shorties, h-pipe, cai, and pullies my first time out. I do have a T-5 but I think you could get at least low 15's out of your car. Have fun!

Just practice man. It's mostly mental the first couple of times you race. The anticipation of the lights counting down. The expectations you have for your car. Just be patient though, it will come to you with practice. Don't forget to have fun. Some people are born good drivers, others (like me) had to work at it.
