sorry didnt relizes there is a sound section so I shoulda posted this here earlier

Anyways I installed some 6.5 speakers in my doors and put a new jvc head unit in,, well the stock connectors had been cut when someone stole the original stereo on the jvc the wires were black=ground red=accessory and yellow=battery

i hooked the ground on the jvc to the ground in the harness and the red accessory to the green and black the ign switched and then ran tapped the yellow into the cigar lighter in the fuse panel as i couldnt find another constant source...well everything worked right for a couple of hours and while i was driving around I lost all sound ..... did I hook something up wrong and burn up the headunit ???

Sounds okay, maybe just a blown fuse, I would pull out the fuse in the back of the unit and check to see if that is bad, and then check the ones under the hood. If they are all okay, then I dont know what to tell you, but if there is one thats blown it may be too low of an amperage for your head unit.
