Ok i called Mufflex in trenton NJ...He does all my custom exhaust work I told him what i had and he Laughed...See he calls me Mr. Loud because every car i had him do is loud....lol so this is what he came up with ....Super 44's flowmasters 2 chamber...with custom dumps built in with caps so i can run them with down pipes or close them and go thru the Tails....So how do you think that will sound? And does anyone have soundclips of 2 chambers dumped? and thru Tails...Once i get this exhaust done i will make clips and pictures to show you his work...This guy is AWESOME on doing Custom exhaust.....

If you want your car to sound like crap get flowmasters. They even rot out in a year! How can you beat that!

Weird, every car Ive heard macs on sounds pretty sweet. I had a flowmaster on my old truck, was just about completely falling apart in about a year.

Mine still looks good after 5-6 years

I also have a flowmaster cat-back on my '03 GT. It's been there since '03 and i drive in slush and snow. It's nowhere near rotted out at all

I'm gonna make a strong attempt to get a clip of my car tomorrow and get it posted...i've got MAC full lengths, Dr. Gas X pipe and a Magnaflow cat-back...it's surprisingly quiet at cruising speeds and idle but screams like hell when you get on it.

This is just my opinion....but cars that are rowdy loud 100% of the time are just obnoxious, especially if you're packin a 95% stock engine. It's one thing to drive around a 500hp car that's loud all the time but to me driving around a stock or mild bolt-on car that's ridiculously loud is pretty silly. It reminds me of the "small man - big mouth" thing.

I agree. Loud ass cars sound very 16-year oldish to me. I actualy don't like loud Mustangs anymore. They sound obnoixious

Im not 16 lol...But i like loud....And my car right now is a bolt on car not for long...its going to have AFR 165 heads....Edelbrock performer air gap intake...I might go with a TFS stage 1 or 2 cam...plus a 150 shot ...so it will be loud but it will have something under the hood to back it up....Hopefully ...lmao....Plus 3.73's 31 spline axles...corba posi kit...sub frames....UPR upper and lower control arms...Battle boxes welded...etc..etc.......and if that cant take out the person im playing with on the street...ill go home to get my Fast car....LOL........

**** mufflex,
thats what i got to say about that. Long story short, i was working on my truck, and i had to install a new exhaust because the flowmaster muff had rotted out and the tail's fell out of the muffler after 2 years. Anyway my uncle has a shop in hamilton so i was working on it there, well i forgot to order 02 sensor bungs and it was a saturday afternoon, Well being that mufflex is about 5 mins from my uncles i figured i would just pick up two o2 sensor bungs from them. Now knowing that they are a custom exhaust shop i figure they would have about a 100 of these things laying around. So i go up and explain to the guy that i have to get my truck done today because i needed it for work on monday and asked him if he could sell me two o2 bungs, He says sure no problem, comes out with two in his hand says "30 a piece" I was like .30 cents right ? He said " no 30 bucks each" i was so pissed off and looking back now i wish i had frikkin thrown them at him and said up yours but like an idiot, I bought them, 60 effin dollars for two o2 bungs, I will never do business or recommend him to anybody, I dont know who i talked to , for all i know, It could have been one of the shop guys selling them to me and pocketing the money.

The moral of the story is , i let them know that i was in a bind and they took advantage of my misfortune that day. I was ripped off and what they did was completely unproffesional. I own a business and deal with customers all day long, the last thing i will ever do is screw over my customers, because in my business 50% of my work is referral and word of mouth.

So my opinion is to not give another dime to mufflex. Their scam artists

Im sorry to hear that...I deal with the owner....Denny... Never ever ever had a problem with them they do the best work around IMO....I let the tear into my Brand new SRT-8 Magnum and they do awesome work....I dont seem to pay alot at all for the type of exhaust systems he builds....And to be honest with you whatever price he tells me to me its worth it....Because he only does top notch quailty type work...I live an hour or so away and will drive to him any distance to get work done by him.....
