I want 12's

I keep trying to get a 12 sec pass but can't seem to do it. My best run is a 13.4 @ 105.7 mph thats with a 2.148 60'. What type of tires do i need? What should i launch at? Are my mods enough to run 12's?

A lot of guys have seen significant improvement with drag radials...nitto or bfg. With your mods, traction, and a good driver, that car should be mid to low 12s

Put a mickey thompson drag radial on it.

Is your car tuned? MPH looks low for the parts.

+1 for the mickey thompsons. i will be getting them sometime soon. your mph does seem low but it is good for 12's. im hoping for high 12's with a good 60'.

His MPH doesn't seem that low. Lots of heads/cam/intake 94-95s trapping around his MPH...last thread I was in had a heads/intake/cam 95 that goes 12.76 at 105.

And yeah, it'll definitely do 12s with traction. Even a 1.8 second 60' should get you to 12.9.
