You guys don't like it!?!?!? Are you crazy? Have you ever been to a track or head a big nasty cammed, high compression motor... THAT is what it sounds like. Maybe I'm getting old or something, but that sound SCREAMS performance to me. I can almsot smell alcohol in the air as I listen to that bad boy rumble. I'm VERY surprised you guys are not drooling on your keyboards over this vette... wow....

Buy the way the exh. seemed to be coming out from under the car and not the tips.

A. he had dumps and left his tails on for looks.
B. was running open headers and from the sound looks thats my bet, and I bet it had some kind of long tube on it so could have his o2's still functioning.
C. was running with his catback undone and some kind of off road mid pipe.

Sounds nice. I would like to see what he put down.

I came across the vid at another site and the car is a 434 cu. in. stroker LS1. Naturally,it has all the goodies(heads, cam, F.A.S.T. intake i believe). It supposedly put down somewhere around 580 rwhp NA. Nonetheless awesome car!

I post my opinion and get bashed for it... go figure I guess I'm part of the "new generation" that doesnt know what a true american muscle car sounds like since I dont like how that car sounds

it screams performance to me too, but doesnt change the fact that I dont like how it sounds. There has been only 1 T/A that I've heard that I've actually liked, all the others havent done anything for me including that vette.

Scary! I wonder what that cam would do to our 94-95 computers. The exhaust looks like a Corsa Indy edition with the Pro tips. I just installed the same catback on my momS C5.

it sounds nice but for a nice classy car like that, it dont match.

i like that lumpy cammed sound but only on a older muscle car. its just a little too lumpy for my liking on a newer car.

Personally, I think it sounds bada**.

lazer is correct, it's an HPE 434 with stage 3 AFRs, 11.5:1 CR, Kooks 1 7/8 LTs, FAST 90mm intake, yada, yada...and a big cam (254/262, .640 lift, 112lsa).

Made 562rwhp and 507rwtq.

And no it wasn't running thru the exhaust...the cutouts were open.

Here's a video going thru the exhaust: http://www.horsepowerengineering.com/media/MOV01368.MPG

Oh, and that package is about $20k...comes with a 1year/12000mile warranty though.

its not even new years eve yet I was just saying I didnt like the way that particular car sounded... The lope was nice, but I would have liked it if the tone was a lot deeper.

It takes a decent car to sound good with open headers. Sometimes they just sound like a tractor. You can almost hear each cylinder firing. :worship:

I thought it was a popcorn maker at first.

What's the point in taking a beautiful vette and turning it into a........ahhh. N/M.

I won't start.

I doubt any n/a 302 will be beating that car. The cars around you must have some huge cam in them that is wayyyy to big for the motor. But if u read up on whats done to that car...it will handle a 302 with ease. A 302 with a blower or nitrous will still have its hands FULL

Glad I watched. I started not to ...... thinking it was that orange C6. This one I like a little better. That sound, at the beginning reminds me of a bridge-ported or peripheral-ported rotary engine. Then when he turns it up, it sounds like an Indy car. Awesome.
