I was just in CVS and found a magazine named 1979-'93 Mustang Performance

How often does it come out? I've gotta look into this.

Lately my thing with mags is buying the older issues and flipping through those, back when it was all 5.0s and even some carbed setups.

I don't know. This is the first time I've ever seen it. I was looking through and saw the title and grabbed it. Haven't really had a chance to read it yet. I have BOXES of old MMFF and 5.0 magazine that I pick up and read on a regular basis.

Nice, it's about time. It seems that all the magazines I've been buying are basically a parts catalog, and install instructions for the 05+ Mustangs. It's a good sign that our hobby(79-93) is doing well enough for another pony magazine to come along.

This magazine is by source interlink media and by the editors of MMFF.

It figures. I always thought MM&FF made the best effort, of all the Mustang mags, to include Fox stuff. It only seems fitting that they're the ones to recognize us.

I'd say the title of the mag locks its loyalty into place, but its not like any magazine before hasn't betrayed the words on its cover *cough-5.0M&SF-cough*.

Upon reading, it looks like a review of other articles posted in MMFF. Owell. Nice compilation of articles. Maybe I'll email MMFF and see if they intend to do a standalone magazine.

That's what I figured it would be. Doubt they can spend the time or $$$ on new articles for such an "old" car. LOL!

I haven't pulled my old mags out in quite a while, but I have almost every year of MM&FF ( missing like 2 or 3 years) and all of the 5.0 Mustang and the old Super Fords, plus Cars Illustrated from 1987 to present. I bought & subscribed to everything 5.0 Mustang related after I bought my car!

I'll have to look for the mag, just to see what I remember!

There is a really good Automotive only book store in my neighborhood. They sell old car magazines in nice shape as well. I find myself looking through the bins for old Super Ford's and 5.0 related publications over the new magazines. For the same price of one new magazine, I can get 3 old ones in great shape, that I know are all fox related.
