Hi!

I work for spectra premium industries in (Boucherville, Quebec, Canada) Spectra Premium Industries Inc and I’m finalising the design of a fuel injection gas tank for 64 to 70 mustang.

If some one as change his car to injection or will (in a near future) change his car for injection and could come one day (3-4h) so we can fit test the tank, make a test drive,... we will let the tank on the car! The swap can be done with almost any engine but no blower (super charger) or turbo! The pump I used will feed almost any engine N/A with out problem but no forced air applications! Every thing on the car will be done at our company in a very well equipped garage with a certified mechanic and you'll have the right to be as close as the car as you what (by the I mean that you could stay under the hole time if you want!)

I repeat, I'm not selling the tank I will give it to the person that will come with a N/A mustang injection 64 to 70! Then we'll sell the tank to all the other that didn't what to come!

If you have any questions feel free to ask!

Thanks!

wish I was closer, I'd make the trip...but anyway, you should have a setup a standard 255LPH warlboro(or equivalent in tank pump) could be used, so people would be able to use forced induction if they wanted

If I was a couple of provinces closer I would be there in a flash! Oh! You would like a running car. Guess that leaves me out!
Any specs or info on that tank? Steel or Stainless steel, stock stamped style or smooth appearance, in tank pump, filler location, etc. I am thinking it will be a big seller if done right. Any info or pics you can give would be greatly appreciated.
David.

What I'm using is one of our pump that that is about the same as a walobro 190HP. I know because I test our pump and the walbro :p !!! Maybe one day if there is a lot of people asking, we will give the option of the 255 but for now the our pump can supporte any N/A engin and someone told me (I don't know if it's true or not) that a 190HP can supporte 525 hp N/A and 475 hp supercharged easily. but because it's not a person that I know really well and he might mistake him self.

I know a lot in that tank, it will be a 100% my baby, done a 100% by me alone!!! That tank is a pain in the ass!!! have you ever try to put a pump and a rhéostat in the sending unit hole??? IT's really tight! but I did it! SO the tank will look exactly like an original tank but the sending unit will have wier and 2 hose. The tank will be in the same galvanised as we always did because we will used the same top and bottom. Of corse, it will be an inside pump with bol just like a tank for a 90 car! That tank will be perfect! If you have any other question or if you have comment let me know!!!

Sweet deal for someone.

I know!!! But there is no one that look interested!!! Well the more we sell the more profit well make!!!

If I wasn't on the other coast of Canada I'd take you up on the offer for sure.

Heck, if you are desperate...ship me a tank. I'd be happy to install and take lots of pictures and measurements. I'm running a stock tank now (with mods to sender unit to allow a return) and I'd love to throw in a proper tank. Can't cost too much to ship a tank within Canada.

Sounds like you have a good idea here, let's see some pics. Website looks like its still under construction. Why don't you just send one to someone that is ready to use it with thorough instructions so that person can give their opinion on the tank? I would hate to have all my good stuff yanked off to have someone bolt on inferior crap to my car. I'm sure you have a great product, but I'm going to want to inspect it first before I let your "certified mechanic" touch my car.
On top of it all you seem very arrogant in your posts, like this tank is the best thing since sliced bread, and everyone should be fighting each other to haul their car out to Canada to find out its just a tank. I'm not interested in your tank but I think you could present your product in a way that lets the customer decide its quality. I'm still waiting to be impressed. Where are the pics?
