As the title says, my air idle controll does not allways work on a cold start. This happens in spurts where I will have to start several times to get it to idle on a cold start or hold the throttle open for about 15 seconds then it will idle. It is like trying to start the car with the IAC unplugged.
This does not happen all the time but in spurts. I have allready come to the conclusion I have a bad TPS from a previous thread. Would a bad TPS have any contributing factor in this?
IAC is a new Motorcraft and I have a new connecting plug on there also. This was happening before I replaced the IAC.
