hey i am in the process of a FMIC install and i asked before where you guys were running your intake air temp. sensors but forgot to ask what type of sensor you were using. mine can only be put in a rubber hose but alot of you said you screwed yours into the intake pipe right before the throttle body and one dude even had his in the plenum. is there a certain sensor i need to screw into the pipe or an adapter of some sort? thank you in advance! :SNSign:

I'm the guy with the sensor in the plenum. Delphi makes the OEM sensor for Ford. DELPHI Part # TS10098 Its $16.70. It screws into a 3/8" NPT threaded hole or a bung welded into the charge piping somewhere near the throttle body. Should plug right into your stock harness. May need to extend the wiring depending on where you put it. Put it in the plenum is not for the faint of heart. It was cheapest for me. The EGR hold is the right size for tapping a 3/8" NPT hole for the sensor. I had to machine most of the EGR stuff off the plenum to get the sensor deep enough. But is dips perfectly into the air stream.
