identifying parts via part number?

Try to verify the authenticity of a part told to be a '93 Cobra master cylinder. I want to make sure it's not a GT one but I can't remember how to run the part numbers to figure it out.

I'm told the following:
"cast part # is 223757 on the MC. Stamped # is 2324A"

Can anyone help? I don't want it to end being a "Canadian Cobra" MC
