Picked up my '93 5-speed coupe today and was looking down into the engine bay, and what is that large black cylinder/box thing attached at the front-right of the car?
Must we keep it? I read that question at least 2 times a week in the 5.0 tech forum. First, it doesn't weigh much, so no weight savings to get rid of it, Second, if you don't have it, there will be an increase in gas fumes if you start the car up say in a garage. There are also some benefits of the fumes it saves as it uses them when the car is running later. Not as good an explanation as JRichker in the 5.0 forums, but I hope you get the idea.
