If I painted my whole car now, and my front bumper 6 months from now.....change?

I have a full Saleen body kit for my car waiting to go on. The fit for the front bumper is ok, and its fiberglass. I want a urethane one but I am a little strapped for cash at the moment. If I just painted it with the fiberglass one now, and then whenever I decided to get a urethane one put that one...would their be a noticeable difference in paint color?

Save paint from when you paint your car, thats the most important thing to remember for painting more parts later, it's real hard to get a color match on some colors so i just save some paint. Keep the rest of the car waxed and it wont fade, this is even more of a concern on a red car because the pigments in the paint are absorbed more than other colors.

though, my car is black, and i got the exact same paint and clear i did the first time around.

Yeh you can get a perfect match...if painted later and even if you dont have left over paint..I do this everyday for work..some colors are a pain to color match but some are gravy...how ever to make it super easy on the painter have enough paint left over as mentioned earlier. Youll be fine man done sweat it...any good painter will be able to get that color matched...oh just a lil fyi....a lot of cars come from the factory where bumpers and body kits are not a perfect match...next time your lookinga new cars check it out sometimes..
