If you get a code 311 or an EGR code, check your vacuum lines....

I had codes 311 and 334 when running a KOEO:

311 - Thermactor air system / fault during engine run self test
334 - EGR closed valve voltage high

I checked my vacuum tree and fixed a leak, but still got the codes. However, one of the posts here made me double check something. Make sure the GREEN vacuum hose is on the EGR, and the RED one is on the intake, right near the FPR. The two connectors are real close and easy to swap. My engine ran, but my gas mileage was horrible (about 10 mpg) and it pinged at WOT.

I had the two swapped (red on the EGR). After swapping the two, and resetting the computer, the engine ran smoother, gas mileage is up some AND the codes are gone.

Just a FYI for anyone using the search engine. :nice:
