I cant find a good deal on a Fox Body, so I have thought about getting a 94-95. The thing that got me into Mustangs, was how light the Fox Bodys are. My 88 GT with me in it, with almost no gas was 3260, thats with the smog pump, subframe connectors and spare tire. It didnt have a front sway bar or sound insulation though. I weigh 120.

My 94 Z28 when I was 20 pounds lighter was 3540 with me in it, with NO gas, the nitrous bottle empty but it had subframe connectors and a strut tower brace.

I did a search for weight on the 94-95's and I kept finding different numbers and some posts didnt say wether or not the driver was in the car or how much they weighed. If anybody has weighed their 94-95 GT hard top that is close to stock, please post how much it weighed and post if you were in it or not, how much gas it had and what options. I want to find some solid information before I jump into one and end up with something that was as heavy as my 94 Z28. That defeats some of the purpose of me switching to Mustangs. If the 94-95 is a good bit lighter than my 94 Z28 was, that would work out good because thats with iron heads too.

Sorry but no weight with my car stock. But with aluminum heads, no sway bar, very little gas, basically race weight mine was 3380lbs with me out of it. I vary anywhere from 170-175lbs so you add that in and that is a total weight of 3555lbs. But you will see some that are lighter than mine for some reason and I have yet to figure that one out.

Trick95, d@mn, havent seen you around in years! Yea, ditched isnt even the word. ;) I have already had two Mustangs, 88 Turbo Coupe, 95 Thunderbird. Who would have ever thought it. :)

2L8ULUZ2, that is kind of heavy. I hope the scale was messed up, I did not want to hear they are that heavy.

Nope the scale is dead on. It was on a scale at one of our state weigh stations and they have to be accurate because they have to be able to stand up in court since they are the result of some rather high tickets from time to time.
