Took the stang out for a spin and it died 5 minutes after i started it up. Engine just died in the middle, I noticed however that the fan and radio and lights were still working so the battery was ok. I stopped, cranked it over and it wouldnt fire up. Has to be ignition because I heard the fuel pump. I pop open the hood and see some corrosion on the coil wires, tighten them down and drive home. I made it close but it died again. I was close enough to home where I just walked back and brought some tools. So I scrapped all the coil terminals and applied a bunch of dielectric grease. I also sprayed down the TFI(?) module (grey square thing on the dizzy) with electric parts cleaner.

My question is what size are the bolts on the module so it can be removed and further cleaned because I know these things cause problems over time. I cant get a single socket in there those holes are too deep!!

Any parts store should have it. There are a couple different types - the one that looks like a real wrench is what I have. If you image-Google 'TFI wrench' you can see what they look like.

Some folks grind down a socket, but I would rather have the right tool (and sometimes the socket grinders still cant get their TFI off).

Dont forget to put some heak sink grease on the new one.

Good luck.

7/32 deep well thin wall should be what you need. here is what my TFI tool looks like:
