Ignition switch problem. Please help!

I have a 96 GT that had been doing perfectly fine. I moved it in the yard, then cranked it again and moved it back to it's normal parking place. While i was in the car i turned the switch off and turned it back to ACC. mode. I listened to some of a CD and then turned the switch off, but everything stayed on like it was still in ACC mode. So i stuck the key in and moved the switch back again and then forward and when i turned forward the dash lights came on like i was going to start the car. So, i flipped it back to the lock position but everything still stayed one. Now, the switch moves to every position, but the ignition itself is staying on. I can't start the car, but i can't turn the ignition back off either. Any ideas as to what to do to fix this problem? I need my car.

Thanks,
Jason

Its easy but you gotta take apart lower part of your steering wheel and remove the ignition 3-4 screws and release button for ignition(gotta be turned to on position). Im not sure if you gotta remove the part by you knees connected the the dash. Once you take all of that off its really easy like 2 screws.
