I'm curious now? What classifies "RICE" as "RICE"

Ugh....the mentality and intelligence of this board seems to drop bi-weekly. Sorry to break your hearts, Ford isnt the ****, Mustangs arent the uber bestzors, and everything that isnt domestic isnt rice.

It irritates me to see people do silly things with their cars, but it irritates me even more to see people be ignorant about it.

Rice IS an attitude, not a vehicle. If you think you're hot **** and you hop behind the wheel of your stock or lightly modded Mustang and figure you own the road because it rumbles and its quick, you're just as rice as the people you make fun of. And its you that looks like the fool in the end.

On a daily basis, I see just as many people drive like idiots in pickup trucks, Mustangs, Camaro's and SUV's.

What really grinds my gears, being a Mustang Fan, is seeing people beat the snot out of them, just because the vehicles capable of doing it. I'd much rather see a lime green civic with a body kit than I would some retard in a Mustang peeling out everywhere, going sideways around corners and speeding from light to light.

This is an argument you wont win with me, quote it all you want. Pick it apart, dissect it, misinterpret it even manipulate it, but you still wont win it. Next time you get behind the wheel of your car, take a look how your driving and ask yourself if your a ricer.

Case closed. End the thread.

I don't speed from light to light. A ticket is not worth it, and someone can get hurt.
I don't go spinning the tires. Even though I work @ a tire center they still are expensive.
I'm in my mid 30's, Those days were back in my early 20's. It irritates me as well to see dumbarses driving like they are something. It irritates me even more when my 12yr old son is with me and one of these type ppl pulls up, in a Stang or not and starts showing there ass. Then he starts getting hyped and wants to race because he can do it on XBOX or see's it on TV. I am the mature person that explains to him that, that type of behavior is not accepted, and now he understands. It will be my pleasure to hand the keys to him when he is a senior in highschool, with passing grades. (and I have another Stang :D ) We have had this discussion many times and I feel that I have taught him to know better if he wants his dream to come true....
Have I gotten a little froggy @ times with this Stang, YUP. For those of you that say you have not I call :bs: .
I have to admit I do show my Stang off everytime I drive it. I am very proud to have "MY LIGHTLY MODDED 1993 GT FRESHLY PAINTED, WITH LESS THAN 50,000 MILES ON IT." I like to call it tastefully modded:D . I don't show off by driving like an ass. I want folks to check it out. I know it can be crushed by a simple NEON SRT4, I know that by reading stories on here. I have not tangled with one yet. I assure you that when I do it will be on the track. I will not run my mouth before or after, im not like that.
If this had been 12yrs ago then this story would of been the total opposite, but I treasure the items that my family and I have worked for. Hopefully my son see's that as well and takes my advise that I give him.
With that said, I will say AGAIN sorry to those that got offended, it was not meant to be that way, thats why I started this thread to classify so I dont do it again. I don't consider myself a rookie in these forums and have learned a lot from here, Im sure I will continue to learn more. :nice:
Everyone have a good day, even if you have rain like we do. :flag:

My wife's radiator jug started to leak in here 2001 LHS so it's parked in the garage with the new bottle on the hood. Been to lazy after work to install it. So I have been punished haveing to drive the Stang in this weather, cause she is driving our Explorer which I normally drive when it's nasty out.:bang: I will fix it tonight:mad:

Later guys and gals.

Yeah...my post wasnt to a specific person. It was was just general. As far as gettin froggy, Every now and then I'll do a quick 1-2 on a lone road away from traffic/housing. Other than that, not my car, and the only time it ever let out on me was when I first bought it, and it had some bald 205/60/15's on it and I went around a corner slow in 3rd gear, and the ass whipped around me.

ROGER!!
ok let the fun continue.

Yeah. I actually (to my own surprize) go the speed limit most of the time. (my parents dont even believe me on that one!)

I dont show off slide around every corner...but i do have my fun. Like RunninaGt said...he likes people to notice his car...
the only time i get pissed is when someone who thinks they're all that when they're not (like my friend with a v6 gran prix w/ a fart can)...then i take it to the track and whoop their ***.

I like to make noise in my car to get attention, but the beauty is it makes the best noise (not the loudest but the best) at 2500-3000 RPM. Get it to 2500, roll onto the throttle a little, and it gets insanely loud and raspy, and that's enough for me. Half the time I do it it's on my way up to the speed limit or going the limit.
