Well I am new to this site, but am not new to mustangs or cars.

I have a 1995 mustang GT that was making too much HP for me to enjoy, so I sold the drivetrain and was planning on selling the entire chassis, but I got a twinge, and decided to fix the car basically back to stock and turn it into my driver.

My old setup was a bit too extreme.
http://www.angelfire.com/extreme4/blown383/

My new setup:
1995 cobra motor and transmission
aluminum driveshaft
Bassani shorty headers
Bassani offroad x-pipe
Bassani competition exhaust
HAL tubular k-member
Eibach pro kit
Koni yellows
HPmotorsports megabite Sr. lower control arms
Kenny Brown subframe connectors (Matrix System)
17x9 Fittipaldi Argus rims with 245/275 tires
Brembo Cobra R brakes (front)
Cobra rear brakes
and alot of stuff I cant remember

I just recently purchased a totalled 1995 cobra and am in the process of swapping the entire drivetrain, and engine management system.

I am going to repair the cobra chassis, and turn it into an open track car. That oughta be fun.

I will have a ton of parts left over if anyone is interested.

Welcome to stangnet. This is a great site. Just keep your sales out of the forums and in the classifieds (Trader at the top of the page) and you'll be set. I looked at your old setup but didn't see any numbers. What kind of power were you pushing with that combo? Any track times?

at 6 psi it pushed out just over 600 whp. I then bumped the boost up to 14psi, I didnt dyno it, but it would blow the tires off the rims at any speed (below 100mph) in any gear. I never raced the car, Right after I got the motor in the car it developed a Porosity leak in the block. My motor builder had me send the motor back to him, and he replaced the entire thing (he was a personal friend, and I payed over $12,000 for the longblock alone). After I put the motor back in, I realised I wasnt a good enough driver to have this as a street car, and I needed money for my business, so I sold it to a customer. The customers car with the same drivetrain setup runs 9.0's all day long, but he has a more drag based suspension, so I would figure that the car as pictured on my old site would have run in the low LOW 11's or even higher to mid 10"s

And sorry about the selling thing, I will keep that strictly to the trader/classifieds section

No problem man. Just trying to keep you out of trouble. If the mods see sales in the forums, they will lock the threads, lol. Welcome to stangnet.
