With my setup i'm looking for daily driver with good mid range power. I wish it was easy to deciede on a cam but there are so many out there. Help me!!!!!!

stock rebuilt 306 with stock style pistons
stock explorer intake
brand new stock gt-40p/explorer heads
explorer tb
full exhaust
24 injectors and maf

every one will tell you call ed curtis for a custom cam..if your on a budget go to jegs for a ford motorsport cam pick one out theres ..i went with an f cam

I would love to get a custom but this is a budget engine. I have looked around and I can get a e-cam around my area for $75-125.

e cam should work good with that set up, basically the GT40 crate motor set up.

tfs stage 1 advance it 2-4 degrees and it will rock.

I like the trick flow stage one cam but its a little low at .512. I personnaly use a X303 without any problems with piston to valve clearence. I would say try the B303 with a set of 1.7 roller rockers. Same duration as X and a little less lift.

fms alphabet cams have more lazy ramp rates compared to the tfs 1 cam.
