I own a 95 GT (5 speed) with an offroad H & flows & its extremely slow....Your 4.6 will win...I think a 98 GT would most likely lose though....

Sorry bro....Actually to be quite honest, with your current mods, I think your car would win. When I was in Mexico, I raced a 97 Gt that had full exhaust & a few other mods & it beat my 95, but only on the top end....It was actually really funny because it was from a 55mph roll & it was the longest & slowest race I have ever been involved in LOL....

Its really pathetic how slow 94-95 GT's are, They feel like they have monster torque down low (compared to a 4.6), but once you hit 3000 rpms, they fall flat on there face. Its the exact same motor as the Fox body's, but Ford messed up by changing the computer system, & they car is alot heavier than a Fox, so its quite a bit slower....

If I'm not mistaken the 94-95s made 215 and the 96-98s made 225. I might be wrong though. I know a buddy of mine has one and when it was stock it went like high 14s-low15s if I remeber right. Now its built to the moon and back with a 101mm turbo ran like mid-low9s in it last year.

i raced a 5.0 fox from about 25-90mph and killed him with my current mods, hopefully the heads, cams, and LT's will wake her up a little

4.6 will walk it hard.

94-95 5.0 5 speed cars are a sweet ride, but the AODE cars are turds in the water.

I test drove one and I swear my Jeep would outrun it off the line.

I'm also guilty of picking on 94-95 5.0's. When i see one on the road, my eyes light up like it's christmas.

I would beat them in my Fox

I would beat them in my Lincoln Mark 8

And i beat them now in my PI GT.

Actually, i beat up on a lot of 5.0's in general. A LOT of the fox 5.0's still left on the road are 150K miles tired cars with exhaust only as mods. Not very hard ot beat them. Granted...there are also a lot of 5.0 foxes out there with engine work that would rape a 4.6L.

My own 5.0 AOD is faster than my 4.6L 5-spd....so i would never boldly come out and say that all 4.6's should beat all 5.0's.

94-95 225
96-97 215
98 225

Obviously, the 5.0 has killer tq #s down low and the 4.6 pulls top end.
