Mine was an issue however, since I'm running a 2 3/4" blower pulley on my M90. Even with the 8-rib set up, it's holding on for dear life to what little of the belt surface contact it's making. Lol

Your larger M112 probably doesn’t have that problem, since you’re able to run a much larger pulley (which allows you to maximize belt traction) and still move decent volumes of airflow.

Roots blowers will normally spike fairly quickly and may climb 1-2psi durning the last 1,000RPM or so of the tack. That's not a bad thing and is often quite normal..especially if you're running stock heads/cams/etc. It means it still measuring some amount of restriction, that's all.

It's watching them drop off at the last 1,000RPM of the tack that you don't want. That means that you aren't running enough blower and it's unable to keep up with the airflow demands of the engine.

Yea, my TC actually does the same thing if you let it coast for a while. Touching the brake will unlock it, but it is very annoying when I just want the car to coast, like down a hill. The more and more I drive the car, the more and more problems I see in the tune from my current tuner....

Yea, I'm only running a 3.5 inch pulley which is good for 6.5-7 pounds of boost. I fixed the leak today (was a bad rubber piece where the line spliced into the vacuum tube), and it's making right at 7 pounds. A 3.3 is supposed to make 9-9.5 on these blowers, and that's what I'm planning on running when I up the boost and add methanol. Supposedly, some guys go as low as 3.0 with these blowers, making 13ish pounds of boost, with no belt slip. I don't understand how that is, but some folks run 'em.

And yes, it seems that the boost goes up 1-2 pounds from 5500-6000 rpm. Which number should I be using when describing how much boost it makes? The overall number? Or the peak number?

Not to de-rail your thread, Will, but the same thing applies with the track down in Florida that Cobra(NPI) runs at, and especially the guys in the middle east in Saudi or Kuwait. Those tracks, and these, are just amazing at night time with the lighting.

Really, the real deal for an NHRA track or a weekly nightly track.

Yea, that was the first time I've ever been out to the Rock at night time, and it really is nice. My home track, although a small track and only 1/8 mile, which is only a few years old, is also very nice at night. I'll be heading back on May 6 (also at night); hopefully I'll have a friend riding along this time that can get some more videos. I only wish somewhere around here had the really nice time boards (with the green lights) like the track that 98cobra runs at.
