You need to find something that makes your winters go by more quickly...It's snowmachine season!!!

Me and my M8 are headed out tomorrow morning for the first ride of the year! Truth be told, the 95 is what holds me through during the long summers wait between snowmachine seasons!

Im not a big fan of winter or winter activity's. I put to much into the Mustang to support a snowmobile habit as well.

Same here for me. I read the post last night and then got on it today. Swapped from the Saleens back to the stock wheels, pumped up the tire pressure to prevent flat spots, topped off the tank, added Stabil and Seafoam (maybe a little overkill but Seafoam fights off moisture and will clean her out in the spring) pulled the battery, pulled the K+N and stuffed the filter housing with rags to prevent any critters from getting up toward the mass air and building nests. Also stuffed both tail pipes with rags, saw it on several sites that had winter storage tips. Then I threw the new car cover on. Another tip I saw is throwing some of that mouse poison D-Con under the car to rule out any critter activity in the area. Not sure if Im going to though, might be a little bit of overkill. Not to mention the cars kept in a different state....

Also heard of putting a bowl of baking soda in the car to soak up any moisture so it does not have that stale smell in the spring time.

I actually read that, too. Didnt think about it on the way to put her up though. I might stop by there after work tomorrow and implement both ideas. Guess you can never be too safe. I see cars that are daily driven at the dealership that have been torn to shreds by critters and having an interior that isnt all musty in the spring would be a plus.

I save those little silicon packets that come with various products all year long and stick them in the car when I put it away for winter. Since I started doing this I haven't had any moisture or mold problems. My car will be hibernating after this weekend's race.

Kitty Litter works great, too. Uh...the unused kind.


And you can use it for oil spills.

i live in southwest louisiana... our winters are basically a mild autumn... this means i hardly EVER see snow... (last time was 1988) but at least i don't have to worry about wintering my cars!

I live in Kansas, and we get our share of snow and ice. This year will be the first year that I have had two Mustangs, usually I have a Neon on standby, but not this year.

The 95 GT will serv as my DD as it has 151k on it now, and my 03 GT will sit in the garage for the winter, it has 51k on it and would love to keep it below 60k as long as possible. I have owned it 2 months now and I have put around 300 miles on her. I have never had a Mustang this new and beautiful before so I am a bit obsessive about it.

Atlanta, GA area here. No real winter to speak of, so that's how I voted.

I drive a Grand Cherokee to work every day, but the stang gets weekend duty and evenings throughout the week.

We get maybe a dusting of snow ONCE each year. I don't drive in ice or snow ever, so the rare times that happens the stang stays in the garage (and frankly, Atlanta is probably shut down if any accumulation occurs).

I bought it to drive it. :SNSign: I refuse to miss out on it just because it's cold out. That being said, I dont drive it in the rain or the snow and not when there's a lot of salt on the road and it is always garage kept. And as Paul said, it makes a difference! Also, I noticed the car has NO traction under like..40*. I am not sure why tho.

I drive a truck. However the truck has no engine in it right now. I'll probably end up driving my dad's Ranger. Its the "spare" truck. Either that or i'll drive the 99 which I really dont want to do. I hope to have my truck back together before we get any real snow
