Details:
ALLOWS FOR INFINITE NUMBER OF SPEED SETTINGS. REQUIRES NO MODIFICATIONS TO STOCK WIRING OR BEZEL.

Anyone heard of these before? I busted my switch pretty bad, I shoved the rod through the back on accident and lost all of those tiny springs. I've asked before if I could fix it but no one seems to have done this before. I just saw this switch today and it looks interesting. Does it matter what type of wiper motor I have? It says no modifications needed.

The link doesn't work.

That looks pretty trick.

I got a switch out of an old 86 ford pickup truck and rigged it to work in my old 73. I think I spent 10 dollars for the switch and used instructions I found on the web to wire it.

There was an article a year or two back in a Mustang mag.... or maybe it was a post on this board... I can't remember anymore. It talked about using a truck wiper switch from late 70s+ Ford trucks for I think it was 69+ Mustangs. No help to use with the earlier years I suppose, other then a starting point. I've been thinking about replacing the stock wiper switch with something I custom make for a long time. I use thinking if using a sliding pot to adjust the motor speed and all the way left would be off. I'd love to play with it but I need to get out of college first =)

Thats acutally a pretty cool little thing....

I wonder if it does Ludicrous Speed

I have a 79 Ford truck 2-speed wiper motor and intermittent switch in my 66. I had to shorten the switch 3/8" to fit the Mustang knob and enlarge the holes for the wiper motor grommets. Pretty much a bolt in. Cost was about $50 total.

Yep, as jack says, us 65-66 guys have to swap to a later motor whereas the later model guys just have to put in the intermittent stuff....70vert, you should do it, yet another reason not to envy us 65-66 guys :D
