OK firends,

I purchased a brand new set of 42lb injectors with a 255lph pump with the thought of going supercharged. I have since decided that I will go N/A for a while and get the Supercharger next year (No more MONEY) . I am building a 331 stroker but would like to know if I should step down with the injectors and fuel pump. I was thiking 30lb and 190LPH? Any suggestions would help?

I would recomend changing to 30s. But don't ask me see what some of the other folks say on the form. I happen to have a set of 30s all ohmed out, cleaned out, new o-rings and pintle caps. I guarentee that they work as intended. Will trade you + some $ if you are interested.

If your definatly getting a blower, get the injectors that will support you down the road so you aren't buying twice.

I hope your not expecting a 42# injector to be ideal for a supercharged 331? You'll be using an FMU. Use a 255 high pressure fuel pump. Not sure if you'll need a booster pump.

I think the 42's would be ok for a blown 331, thats what sureshot was running before i basically bought his set-up. I would keep the pump you have, since its a return style fuel system and the extra volume can only help. i would try to avoid buying injectors twice. 42's would be a liltte big for a 331, but if you know your going for a blower, you can probably get it tuned to run ok.

Yes I was expecting they would be ideal and they would be for that set up, but for what I want to do now they are too big.
