Injectors?? do any other ford vehicles come with over 19lb?

I need around 24lb but do any other ford vehicles come with this size or the like that you could get cheap at the wrecker???

Yeah ford has a lot of vehicles with 24# injectors. I think the trucks with 351Ws have them.

Also trucks with 460 engines came with 24#'s, although they probably have a different color body than ones that came in passenger cars

This is not all of them, but it will help..............not all 24# will work due to the connectors being different............

I think jeep wranglers have 19lb injectors, the newer ones 2000 and above

I believe the 93 Cobra came with 24#'ers, but I doubt you will find 1 @ the wrecking yard.

03+ Mustang GT's come with pink 21#ers.

A chip or tune should be able to compensate

I believe the t-bird super coupes and turbo coupes had 24#ers..What about the explorers and mountaineers that were equipped with the 5.0??

Super coupes either came with 30# or 36# depending on the year.

Turbo coupe come with high impedance injectors that will not work with our car.

Explorers have 19's.


As far as i know, the only cars that come with 24's are

'93-01 Cobra
93-98 Mark 8
95-02 Continental
03+ Aviator
03+ Marauder
87+ 460 EFI trucks

possibly V10 F250 and F350's come with 24's but not sure.

Like I said though - check out the connectors before you buy or you might have a problem to solve....

Thanks for all of the help with this, just tryin to save a few dollars. So the major thing is to make sure that the connectors are the same as the ones in my car. But all of the injectors are the same size? or do I have to watch for that too?? Thanks again.

remember you need to change the MAF or recalibrate yours for the 24's - otherwise you'll run rich. You might try looking in the classifieds and ebay and just get a matching set. I saw one set of Injectors and a Pro M MAF for $200 shipped last week on the Corral. I'm looking into swapping my 30's in the GT out for 24's.
