Greetings, all. I'm getting ready to install new springs and shocks on the front of my 68 coupe. Already have the springs (620) and was actually going to splurge for the Edelbrock IAS instead of KYB's, hoping for good handling and a smoother ride than the KYB's. I did a search and most of the feedback was positive, but I did find a thread where some said they had trouble getting the top shock mount to fit the top of the shock. Is this a common problem that I should expect? Will the lowering springs affect this? Sorry, I don't remember what the rest of his suspension set-up was.

I'm just looking for some better handling and decent ride for street duty. I may try an occasional trip at the track, but that's quite a way off, so not a big concern right now. I will probably do the Shelby drop while I'm in the front end, too.

Thanks in advance for any feedback/input! Bryan

no problems at all. the install problem is getting the bar thru the cap, that holds the shock in. it just takes some twisting, using NO force. sometimes it just falls into place when you ease up on the pressure. there's a collar that holds the boot on, that makes it tight.
