Hello everyone, I am seeking a detailed guide on installing a bbk throttle body (70mm)
I was wondering if this mod would provide any noticeable advantages to a otherwise stock 95 Cobra.
What I need to do is take the bbk off of the car and replace it with a stock tb, and then install on the bbk on the Cobra that previously had a stock one. Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Negligible difference really. However if you intend to sell the Cobra after returning to stock, if transfer all aftermarket parts anyway

The only 2 problems you are likely to encounter are:
1.) That the studs may have corroded to the point where they will be difficult to remove if they need replacing. I have seen them corrode to the point that the throttle body is difficult to remove.

2.) Scraping the gasket surfaces perfectly clean to remove the old gasket can be difficult and certainly time consuming. Don't use a wire wheel or abrasive material (Scotch Brite pads) to remove gasket residue on aluminum parts!!!

Never use Scotch Brite pads on anything that faces the inside of the engine since the abrasive grit can get inside the engine and do serious damage.
