Installed the 3.73 Gears Today....

I had 4.10 in 4r70w and never looked back, but with my t-45 I will do the 3.73

After lots of research, I decided on 3.73 gears for my 2004GT automatic. I was debating weather or not to go to 4.10s.

Well, I can say that the 3.73s really woke her up!

Happy with the choice.

andy, how's your cruising rpm's on the hiway? also,, are the shifts points still good for the gears?

I have not been on the highway yet.

I did raise the shift points up using a Hypertech Power Programmer.

The car is MUCH quicker, especially 0-60.

Based on how the car drives, I would say that 4.10s may be a bit much for a street car.

A drag car would be better with 4.10s, IMHO
