could just need time to brake everything in.when i still had the aode,i had it rebuilt.for a little while after i installed it,ran a little rough,was kinda noisy.went away after i put more miles on it.
might want to check your tranny fluid for proper level,and get under the car again just to make sure nothing is rubbing and check for leaks.
