i just got some new headlights for a GT cobra my brother whos a mechanic said they would fit on my mustang with is a V6. im tryin to figure out how to install them im assuming im going to have to drill holes. since they dont line up
It would help if you told us what year your car is. BTW, GT's and Cobras have the same headlights as the V6 so no modification is needed. Just direct swap.
But if they aren't lining up, then no idea what is wrong. Are they aftermarket?
headlights are about the simplest thing to change. Again it depends on the year of your car, but on the 99-04 there are only two pins that hold each headlamp assembly in. I believe its almost as simple for the 94-98.
I hope you got the 2 cylinder add on kit with those GT Cobra lamps!
