If I wanted to put a 75 dry shot on my setup, just for track use...what else should I do? I run 15* advanced now, so before spraying at the track I will have to bump my timing down to 10*.....which is easy enough. But what about plugs? Will I need to put colder plugs in? Will I have to change the gap?

I wouldn't be using the spray all that often, just for the times I go to the track, so I really don't want to run around with 10* and a super cold plug gapped small all the time......but I really don't want to change plugs just for the track. If I do install this kit, I will only use it at the track, and most likely won't even use it every run.....go make a few passes on motor, then a few on nitrous. So changing plugs at the track would be a PITA. Taking a little timing out wouldn't be that big of a deal.

So, can I run a 75 dry shot with my OEM plugs gapped at .045, or do I need different plugs to make 4 passes? And is 10* advance where I want to be for nitrous....just bringing it down to 10* from 15* for my nitrous passes and putting it back at 15* for DD and non-spray passes?

you could probably save urself all the trouble by going with a wet kit.
But then again, if you wanna do nitrous completely right... its going to run you the same price as a small blower.

but yes, turning timing down and running cooler plugs is strongly reccommended while on the juice.

I agree with the wet kit. NY-Trex sells an awesome kit. Its the primo kit it retails at my local speed shop for 599.99 and comes with everything. It comes with everything, bottle lines, aircraft style switch, purge kit. Also if your at a track out of town and you need a jet, and they have a NOS or NX jet either one will work in this kit.

I appreciate it, but IF I go with this, I am going with a friends kit. It is a -ready-to-go 75 dry shot. I wouldn't spend a lot of money on something that I am only going to use at the track....which is like 4-6 times a year. Which is why I never really thought of installing nitrous, because it would make no sense spending that much money on something I will hardly use. But a free-be 75 shot...now THAT I will use. I just don't want to have to go changing things in and out just to make a few passes. Like I said, changing timing is a 2 minute job that can be done at the track. But I do not want to change plugs on a nice and hot motor, at the track.

Would there be any negative effect on my DD setup if I ran a colder plug, gapped around .040?
