intake ident

i been getting told alot of different answers here i have the casting numbers off the inake but cant find them listed anywhere online. i finally took pics, any help would be great.

Looks like a stock 86-93 5.0 Mustang intake. What exactally were you wanting to identify?

that was it, thank you for your help. i got the car, been told manyyyyyy different things bout parts, time slips, hp, all the usual bs. so im trying to finger things out myself, so there is no bs left in the car. thanks again

yeah that's definitely just a stock intake

Ford called these motors H.O. motors from the factory, the're just the regular mustang motors, it wasn't like an option between a H.O. V8 and a regular one. The only other V8's you could get from the factory in the 86-93 FI cars were the '93 Cobra and Cobra R motors. Though there were subtle changes made depending on the year of the H.O. motor. However I am pretty sure the intake (like you have) was used on all previously listed years of H.O. motors.

Agreed.

What year is the car? '86 upper intakes didn't breathe as well. '87-'93 all had the same upper, '86-'93 all used the same lower.

well to be honest when you have $0.00 a pos paper weight, is worth alot more to some people.
