plenum install doesn't suck too bad but it's time consuming. Takes about 20 to 30 minutes depending on how much beer you drink

IMO, I would stick with your plan, plenum and throttle body. I'm doing the same thing for my car this winter and made that decision according to my budget as well as tons of research. I made a plan for my car instead of sporadic purchases.
I'm going with the accufab combo. Out of all of em, I've heard the best responses and remarks about the acufabs. Although they are slightly more than the other kits including the dragon, hey, you get what you pay for. I plan on keeping my car for a long time and I never want to say, "man, shoulda spent that extra 100 bucks". I've done that before and it suks...

Good luck bud!

I know the feeling, and I agree that many times the few extra $$ is well worth it in the long run. I guess I don't really get how one plenum could be so much better than others, but I figure nothing on a car is really affordable anyways so i'll just hurt my wallet a little more and buy a top of the line item for it, even if it isn't that much better than the other products. If there is a HUGE difference in price make sure you research, but for a $20-100 difference I don't care that much.
