intake question

Ok now that it hit 100K I can get off my high horse of having a Fox with under 100K and trying to keep her close to stock.

So I want an intake set? I have always likes the looks of the Cobra intake and have heard to be careful of the ones made in China???? They cause oil leaks??? I may be waaaaaaay off on that but you guys/gals can answer that for me.

I don't know what is best for my buck being the slight mods I currently have. So I need some help. Don't want to break the bank, but I know this is little but it will help, my dad gave me a $90 gift card to CJ pony to get me motivated to fork out the rest lol

I was looking at this one because it comes with the throttle body..... Suggestions please

oops just noticed my mods are not in the sig.
~ 40 series Flowmasters, with stock piping out the back.
~ shorty headers
~ o/R H-pipe
~ UD pulleys
~ Timing to 14
~ panel K&N filter in stock air box.
~ stock gears

Also I hear a lot from hear that the CAI are a waste of money?

1st- 3:73 Gears
2nd- Edelbrock Performer Intake (Made in the USA). I'd also do 70MM TB and 80MM Mass air while doing the intake swap. BBK intake way expensive.

I did the Eddy intake, 70MM, 77 MAF all at once, car made 237HP / 241 TQ at the wheels and got my first 13 second pass 13.69 on street tires.

Hmmm was doing a little asking around and was told that. With what has been done and me not planning on changing heads and still undecided on the intakes that it would be best to (other than gears) swap the mass air flow with a 75 mm Pro M. CJ pony stated to leave the stock injectors, that there would be no need to put in 24's unless I am going to swap heads. But they stated that would be better than a CAI or TB

I have a Cobra (an old one, not the china made one) intake and like it well enough but I think if I were buying a new one it would probably be the Performer.
Didn't someone on here have problems with that ssi intake leaking fuel?

I have a nice Performer I bought for my Saleen, but unfortunately, it won't fit under my strut tower brace. If you're interested, PM me for details.

I like that idea as well, pick up Wythors Performer much better choice then the SSI. Id also pair it with a 70mm TB. The 19lb injectors will be fine.

If you need a Pro-M Meter I'll give ya the best deal around...

Explorer intake.

Can be had with 65mm explorer tb and injectors for $100 or less these days.

I would prefer that setup over a post - 2003 cobra intake.

An Explorer intake can be picked up for $100.00 or less with a throttle body??? I got one this weekend upper and lower for $100.00 and no throttle body. Looks pretty rough as well, really really needs a cleaning. Should I not get it? I still have the option.

I also purchased from this same person 75mm MAF. I did pay for that though, it was $100.00 as well. It's already on the car.
