Intake Spacer

I am currently running an explorer intake. I dont know where that kid enyawix got the idea that i had a TFS street heat intake!?!? Im running a steeda # 18 cam with milled gt-40's with a 3 angle. I dont think the car is lacking a huge amount of torque...its just a little lazy below 2500. The cam specs are as follows.

Lift .480 with 1.6's 220 intake 226 exhaust on a 112 LSA

I would think the lack of torque below 2500 is due to the cam. I have heard thay the steeda cams are lazy in the lower rpm's. I don't think a spacer is gonna do much except lower the upper rpm hp with the explorer intake. I think you might can try advancing the cam 4 degrees. I think that might help some.

Advancing the cam is just such a pain in the ass. I've taken the front of the motor apart so many times...its just tedious now. Maybe i'll jump into it over the winter when it's sitting. What i dont want to happen is advance the cam and wind up with a powerband just like the stock HO cam. I love the way the motor pulls from 3500 to 5500 and i dont want to necessarily loose that. I guess i'll go back to tweaking...see if there is any more low end in it! Thanks
