Interior Done and Mirrors Painted

You must really like red.... :)

I'll second the fellow that said well done but not for me. That said cutting down the chrome in the accents is not a bad idea as I hate the glare that hits you from them sometimes.

I would agree with you on doing black. How well does it take scratches? :)

newer bmws and such have a scratch resistant clear. most shops can spray this. if your looking to get this done for your car just have them spray it and clear it with that. i've had to sand it at work to get it ready for a blend, and its aggrivating how hard it is to scratch it. i would sand the panel wipe it down and it just got dusty, still shiny. damn you BMW.

thanks for the positive replies and I know its not for everybody, but damn i was just called stupid and was told to go get an acura, are you serious? lol

I told you to get an Acura because you went completely NUTS!! I can see maybe painting a couple of things red, but you went WAY overboard. But what really sends it over the top is the total carbon fiber dash and the rice-boy pedals.

If that's the look you're into, then you should be hanging out with the ricer crowd, because that's what they're into. I think it's stupid, but that's my opinion. Everybody's into what they're into. Just like how I think the people that put hydraulics on their cars so they can make them bounce 5 feet in the air are stupid. It's not my thing but they love it.

So I guess I'll extend the olive branch and apologize for my earlier comments. I think what you did was sacrelige and the guy's that did the painting should have tried to talk some sense into you, but the bottom line is, it's your car and you can do whatever the hell you want with it. I just think you went a little too far.

A little bit too much for me, but looks like very nice work. Now had the car been a silver, gray or black so that the contrast not been so drastic, I think most everyone would think it was great.

Don't ever let what others think stop you from being yourself! :D
