This is the second time I've ordered a Scott Drake Ignition & Door Lock set from Cj Pony Parts. The first time I ordered I tried to install the door locks and the dimensions on the new ones seem to be way too small. I could almost push the lock through the hole in the door where the original was. I thought maybe because it was an after market part it may not be exact. Then I compared the new scott drake ignition switch to my original and its Doesnt even come close in size to the original. It seemed like they sent me a 65-66 or something. So I sent it back and now a week later they send me a new one and same thing! I'm I missing something?

It might help if you showed us the Drake label. Either Drake packaged it wrong, or CJ shipped it wrong. Show us the label and we'll know.

Yeah,
No matter what it says on the package, that set is for something pre-1967. Note that your old lock that you are holding next to the new stuff is for a double sided key and the new set is not! Also, the shape of the new key head is a dead giveaway. Just more of the "Scott Drake-I Could Care Less" crap! I've gotten so much junk labeled Scott Drake that doesn't fit or is just plain WRONG, that I don't understand how they can stay in business. From what I've found, you can't even really contact Scott Drake. The best you can do is rail on the poor honest vendors of their garbage!
HTH, Sorry For The Rant,
Gene

That's really sloppy on their part.

You can get email addresses for the other employees at Scott Drake - DAGTeam

I corresponded with Paul Kerner about a part, and he was helpful.

I have dealt with Paul and he is good.

Some of their stuff is good, some is pretty bad.
