the only problem is that the kid has the dash ripped apart, so the wiring harness isnt connected so the car wont start. but he said it ran before he took the dash apart- is it that difficult to put it back together? (the dash and wiring harness

ummm when we did it to our 86 it wasn't horrible. but we labeled everything and it still took us a good part if 2 hours to put it back together. we got a couple wires mixed up

the kid has an 87 dash that goes with it, how tough would it be to put that in instead of the stock one?

That's a sweet deal. It'll take you a few hours to get the dash put back together, but then you'll have a running driving 4-eyed 5-speed 5.0!
