I know this might be talk but oh well. I found an 89 gt for $1000 not sure how much is on it mile wise. IT has an E cam an off road h pipe and 3:55 gears. Now what it needs. The tranny needs to be rebuilt it needs paint front bumper and some ground effects pieces. the guy said if i dont like the price make him an offer. I was thinking offer him 500 for it and haggle up to not more then 700. I was going to sell the mass air stuff on ebay and use the engine and rear for my project 84. Let me know if it is worth it or not. Thanks.

its definately worth the price. it wont be hard putting the exterior back together.(im actually trying to do that myself now) how bad is the tranny? miles? take it for a drive, see how it feels. either way good luck on getting into a 5.0

Well i wasnt gonna redo the car i was just gonna use whatever i need and sell the rest.

I dont think i am gonna take it for a grand im gonna offer the guy 600 and a case of beer.
