I am was wondering if my car is running up to par... It seems to run great but my ets are not great. I have an 1997 GT Auto with 3.08 gears
ET: 15.151
Trap: 94.56mph

60':2.603
1/8m:9.9111 @ 76.28mph
0-60mph:7.164

Tires are not very good and I spin off the start. Little spinage when I go into second so I know that won't help. The road I was on wasn't best for traction either. Is this around where it should be running?

Yea thats a pretty average time for an auto. Work on that 60' and you will be running 14's with no problem. For launching the car dont even bother revving it up cause you will spin all day. I just take off like I'm driving normal then once I feel it get traction I nail it. I pulled a 2.1 60' on street tires which isnt bad.

2.6 60ft time is pretty bad. Try 1/2 throttle till you get moving and then mash it. If you get your 60ft times down, you will be in the 14's easy.
And Yup, high 14's low 15's is on par.

I assume you were using a G-Tech or other device that records your performance. Try going to the track. The track is prepped with VHT compound which will help out in the traction department. That will lower your 60ft times and you will see 14's.

Matt :)

that's about right, just practice on your launches and you'll see high 14's. and get some 4.10's
