Hello, putting a 2.3 turbo in a 78 and just working on the wiring now.
At the junkyard today I found a turbo coupe and took the wiring harness and ecu. I was extreamly careful and didn't cut any wires, just unpluged everything and right now I'm going through it removing anything that's not needed (ie light wires and such).
Anyways, the junkyard said the car was an 86 however as I'm going through it some of the colors are wrong from my 86-88 wiring diagram in my Chiltons. In addition I don't have a plug for an ACT sensor. The ecu is a PC1.
I'm really thinking it's an 85 but is there anyways to tell for certain?
Oh and my ECU plugs don't have any numbers on them, so i'm not sure which is '1' and what direction they go in. I know each row has 20 pins.
I'm going to start checking my pins agains the 85 diagram, but any help would be nice, thanks.
