is the 2011 interior really quiet?

I keep reading comments how they refined the interior some more and its more quiet. Just wanted to hear feedback from 2011 owners if their mustang interior does have a nice feel to it, being quiet from exterior sounds at highway speeds specifically-

Gosh, I sold my 95 Cobra in 99 and had a LS1 TA for a few years and since 01 i have been driving a honda accord- Been looking a getting into a 2011 gt- but not sure if I want to do the coupe thing again..but the new stang is sick- love that comparison MT did on the road course between the GT and the M3.

yeah theyve done a nice job at quieting the interior down, so much so they felt it necassary to add a sound tube that pumps intake sound into the cabin.

I know my wife's 2010 GT is pretty quiet, but its not going to be Mercedes or BMW quiet.

Quiet

If you are coming from an Accord, like my wife and I did, it is a lot quieter. Not to mention a much smoother ride. Same mileage as a 4 banger 09 Accord Coupe.....no contest........

Yea it's quiet. When I turn my radio off and just cruise I can only hear the little rumble from the exhaust. Of course I'm still stock but won't b for long. But coming from an 04 gt this interior is amazing. My 04's interior just had all kind of squeaks and creaky noises and u could see pieces unevenly put together. This is my 6th car and 4th mustang and damn sure the nicest

It's as quiet as you want it to be.....Hell when you cruising the interstate in 6th you can barely hear the thing. And if you like me, to hear it I have to turn the radio down.....I won't renew the sirius radio in my mustang but the wife fell in love with it so I'm thinking I'm going to sneak hers down there and have it installed.

I find it smooth and Quiet for the sports that it is. Even with my 40series flowmasters I find it quiet while cruising

ive had mustangs before and with stock exhaust in 5th they were quiet too, but what I mean is it quiet from exterior noise such passing cars, etc...does it have a nice isolated interior? I love that about a car..gotta go test drive one soon...

undrstood yes i say it has a good isolated interior
