Today was a choice between either painting the bottom of the boat or taking the car out. The boat won. And tomorrow’s Mother’s Day. So she will sit for another weekend. But yes, I saw the forecast too. Looks like rain for the next three days. SMH.

In between opening the pool ( I know...my wife's mothers day request) and yard work I was able
to the stang out for a quick burst and work on my tune a little.
It's taking me forever to fine tune my Pimpxs because of all the rain and I work outside as well so there's that.
Looks like 50s and rainy here in CT town for most of the week, did I mention I would love to move..lol

Yeah, it was nice. Story of the whole Spring though. We get one nice day then days of rain to follow. Couldn’t take it anymore. Went out to garage for something and while I was out there jumped in the car for about a minute. Just worked the clutch and pretended I was going through the gears. It’s getting bad. Lol. And wife peeked out and saw me. Just shook her head.

Consolation prize is the money I’m saving having not turned my sprinklers on, since I checked the system a month ago.

Unfortunately any money that we are saving by not running the sprinkler systems is being spent on heating oil. It kills me to still have the heat on in mid May, but it’s been in the 40’s here. Had it off, but wife and daughter were complaining. So, back on it went.

Yeah....you might wanna read up on that before you just make a blanket statement like that.

The fact that the weather pattern is changing, and people make statements like " it's normally hotter here by this time of year, or is the rain ever gonna stop, or you never see an F4 tornado hit Ottawa." are all attributable to something that some bodies not doing right.

Keep looking the other way parents,...it'll be a perfect place to leave to your kids. You can believe what you want to, but it seems to me that if you have one fleeting second of doubt, that'd be enough to look up from the sand you've got your head stuck in and wonder what if.

Beijing, Tokyo, Soul, and several industrialized countries with a buttload of people, and no emissions regs are probably wondering what if too...or maybe they're all wearing surgical masks because they all think they're doctors.

Does this mean I have to give up driving the stang?

In all seriousness i agree we have to take our effects as a real threat.
