Is there a "thinner" direct replacement fan for our cars?

I don't really care for how close the fan is to the water pump with my Summit radiator. It has about a 1/4 of an inch, but it might seem less cluttered with a thinner one.

I've noticed that Fluidyne makes a slim fan and there are various other ones in Summit. I just can't find anything on where one was used in a 94-95.

I may just do that. I wonder about the quality of the fans, though.
