I just picked this up to get one of my 3 stangs back on the road.
What kinda potential does this have?
It was reman'd by ford if that matters.

Looks like a very nice motor. Looks like it got rebuilt well. However, I personally wouldn't have paid $675 US for it including shipping. But that is a good motor and will last you for a long time if you take care of it.

Looks nice...but $675? kinda pricey for a motor that'll make 88hp.

I think i will be pushing a little more than 88hp when i get done with it. (At least i better)
even if not, it was a small price to pay to get a car running that i bought for 200 bucks. at least i can sell it for about 1300.I just really need it out of the garage quick, cause moms trippin'

True.

What plans do you have for it? Here is a good plan to follow:

- Port head
- A237 cam
- shave the head a tad (more compression)
- ranger header
- full 2.25" exhaust

That should put you at about 130-140hp.
