Is this an exhaust leak?

There's a sound I can't quite describe. The best way to describe it is metallic vibration, something like if you spin a quarter on a desk, it only lasts a few seconds, does it in any gear but only when the gear is winding out and the tranny is going to shift (it's an aode). Thanks for any help anyone can offer with my weird unknown sound.

Edit: it comes from the passenger side, under the hood, but around the exhaust manifold. Did i just answer my own question?

Did this sound just start?

Any recent exhaust work? Can you feel air actually escaping near the exhaust manifold? Have you tried spraying any soapy water from a spray bottle near the suspected leak zone (it will bubble up at the point of the leak) ?

If you can capture and upload a video to youtube, it might be easier to diagnose...but hearing it in person is the best. Have someone local to you take a listen...

Any updates on this? I have noticed the exact same thing going on in my 94 GT, I was also thinking exhaust leak.

no updates but to me it sounds like an exhaust flange or something vibrating.
